Hearing Solutions

Although electronic forms of communication may suffice in many parts of the business world, everyday communication at home in society and at work involves the spoken word and listening. To listen effectively we need good hearing. Unfortunately at least 10% of us have a hearing loss and only 10% of those impaired listeners wear hearing aids.

The ramifications of hearing loss are vast. Hearing loss can lead to relationship breakdowns, errors at work, loss of self esteem, loss of self confidence, failure at job interviews and even resignation of highly experienced executives and others at work who can no longer hear well at meetings.

The most common type of hearing loss is called a high frequency hearing loss. Which means the person will hear low frequency (bass) sounds quite well but more trouble hearing the high frequency (treble) sounds. This type of loss results as part of the natural aging process and can also be seen in those with industrial deafness or noise induced hearing loss.
