Government Subsidies Hearing Services Program
If you have a Pensioner Concession Card, DVA Gold and White card, or receive sickness allowance from Centrelink, you may be eligible for subsidised hearing aids^. To determine whether you are qualify and apply for the Hearing Services Program voucher, you can call us on 1800 345 924 or visit your local Western Hearing Services clinic and we’ll assist you to start the process.
Under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program, eligible clients can access a range of hearing services, these are:
- Access to a wide range of quality subsidised hearing devices
- If you’re fitted with hearing devices, you will also receive advice on how to achieve the maximum benefit from your hearing devices
- Further support and hearing services, which can be accessed even if fitting a hearing device is not suitable
- Access to an optional annual maintenance agreement where, for a small fee, you can receive repairs and batteries to support your hearing device. For further information, you may visit the Department of Health website
If you require additional features that are not provided in the range of hearing device subsidies by the Hearing Services Program, you can opt for a ‘top-up’ arrangement where you pay the difference in hearing aid prices.
